Project Summary
288 Group called on First Floors to transform their mezzanine floor into a lecture theatre for training and presentations. They wanted the new space to combine practicality and style.

Project Implementation
Originally a mezzanine floor used for storage, we converted the space into a practical lecture theatre. We constructed the room using a combination of jumbo stud fire rated compartment partitions and acoustic suspended ceilings. Naturally, the materials used would offer acoustic properties, helping to carry sound across the lecture hall.
We chose to decorate the mezzanine lecture theatre with a neutral pallet that was offset by a bold feature wall. Using digital image wallpaper, we went for a mountain image to inspire a calm, learning environment.
288 Group asked us to complete the mezzanine floor lecture theatre as we’d previously worked with them to refit their office. This included the installation of stylish Flotex water and stain-resistant wood-effect flooring. We fitted the lecture room with the same flooring to ensure it seamlessly blended with the rest of the office.
